Frankly, I think your curent one is kind of ugly. It's not the sort of thing that makes me think, "Hey, I should maybe check out that person's gallery."

Hey, I say go for it man...as you probably have seen I'm in the process of choosing a new avatar for myself. It's good to revamp your image every once in a while just to keep things fresh.

It was pointed out to me that my avatar pic was outdated and doesn't reflect my current art skills. That's why I'm changing mine. As for yours, I will agree with the few other folks that commented that your current avatar doesn't really reflect what your gallery does. I would say get one or both of the Dino Gals in there, if not some cool self photo or something. Just my thoughts.

I like your avatar, but it looks like a piece done by another artist, and I'm sure you can come up with something cool of your own! Hell, I change mine all the time! I may even put a PG version of my new devil girl as one!
